Opening Night

Exhibitions will begin with a picnic on the beach on Tuesday, July 6th. You should plan to check into the Radisson hotel by 4 PM at the latest if you are arriving from outside the LA area. We will need cars to get to the beach so please let Sue Talley know how many of you can provide transportation.

The Beach Bash will be held on Dockweiler Beach. This beach is west of LAX, near El Segundo, Playa del Rey, and Manhattan Beach. It is approximately a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Maps will be provided at the hotel.

Hotel and Reservations

We will again be staying at the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Westside. The room rate at the Radisson for this event is $89 per night. This is a special Pepperdine rate for this event only.

Be sure to specify that you are members of the Pepperdine Exhibition group. This will ensure that you receive the group rate and that your room is registered in our block of rooms.

You must make your reservations before Tuesday, June 15, 2004.

All of you should plan to stay at the Radisson for the duration of the exhibitions. If you live in the area and don’t plan to stay at the hotel, please remember that you must be at the hotel early in the morning and until later in the evening (see the schedule below.) Just as you found at VirtCamp ,it helps if everyone is all together so we strongly urge locals to consider staying at the Radisson. If you don’t remember the location from VirtCamp, check the hotel web site. The Exhibitions will be at this hotel. Classes will be held at the West Los Angeles campus, conveniently located a couple of blocks from the hotel.

You will receive a special discounted parking rate of $5 per day or overnight per vehicle. You will receive special validation stickers at the time of the Exhibitions.

Attendance at Exhibitions by Friends and Family:

We will be making invitations available for Friends and Family to come to the Exhibitions. Please invite anyone to attend during the times shown in the schedule.
