January 23, 2005 - Whew!
I completed my Cycle Two action today. Nervous is the work to describe the day. I've always worked with and presented to people that I knew. This was different. This was good for me.On Friday, I thought that it went well. Now today (Sunday) I'm over analyzing and not so sure. I made the decision not to ask for feedback until after the weekend. I wanted to give the particiapnts time to digest what we discussed, what they learned. I know that often when you ask for feedback at the end of the day, you don't get "good" feedback--everyone is in a hurry. Brief summary reflection -- they engaged in dialogue about the "Opportunites Bubbles" without any trouble, in fact, it was difficult the get them to move on. They loved setting up their offices and learning how to decorate those offices. We discussed future--down the road--opportunities that could come from this gathering and they were excited. The supervisor of one of the content areas was really excited and wants to "unveil" Tapped In to the entire staff in two weeks. I'm not sure about doing this as the group isn't acclimated to Tapped In and I don't want to introduce something that I don't have in place yet. We'll see. More later....
