To obtain a challenging leadership position that utilizes my diverse set of educational experiences, business management experiences, and passion for education to design and develop enriched learning enviroments that inspire a love of lifelong learning in students.

Learning is achieved through a cyclic process of action and reflection. This process emcompasses three areas of focus: engagement, instruction, and assessment. Students experience authentic learning when they are actively engaged in appropriate activities that simulate real-world experiences. Using a variety of instructional strategies, students are guided and mentored within these activities to develop both responsbility for their own learning and self-direction in identifying and achieving goals. The assessment component provides opportunties for all stakeholders: students, educators, and parents, to monitor and reflect on the learning that has occurred.
