Introduction
When reading the book, The Playful World. How Technology Is Transforming Our Imagination by Mark Pesce, I found a great interest in the development of artificial intelligence interwoven in the story. The writing also reminded me of an interesting course, Artificial Intelligence that I took at University of California, Irvine. It was an amazing class. When I finished reading the book, I had a strong urge to do more research on artificial intelligence, and decided to make a timeline of its history.
