Lesson One - Causes of the Civil War

Assignment #2 - Individual - participation in Tapped In chat about the causes of the Civil War-portraying the role of Abolitionist, Moderate Republican, Southerner, and/or slave.

Assignment #3 - Individual - Completion of the causes of the Civil War chart based on information from readings and class presentation of readings.

Assignment #4 - Individual - self-assessment reflective journal entry of Tapped In transcripts.

Assignment #5 - Individual - Journal entry entitled: History According to Me. Entry is based on your readings and discussion. You will write a secondary source account of the causes of the war with an emphasis on multiple perspectives and points of view.


Lesson Two - Perspectives on the Civil War

Assignment #6 - Individual - self-assessment reflective journal entry of Tapped In transcript from our discussion related carpetbaggers, scalawag, freedman, or white southerner.
