Assignment #5 - Individual - Journal entry entitled: History According to Me. Entry is based on your readings and discussion. You will write a secondary source account of the causes of the war with an emphasis on multiple perspectives and points of view.

Assignment #7 - Individual - Written editoral to the editor of the fictional paper, "Southern Post," from the perspective of either a carpetbagger, scalawag, freedman, or white southerner.

Assignment #8 - Individual - Journal entry: If you were a white landowning southerner and the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments were passed, what might you do to maintain your power?

Assignment #9 - Individual - Create an editioral article on the Reconstruction, the KKK, and the conditions that allow such (a) group(s) to develop.
